Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how CountLens handles information when you use the app to capture photos, recognize materials, edit results, save records, and create receipts.
Information We Process
- Photos you take with the camera or select from your photo library for material counting.
- Recognition results, including count marks, quantity, model type, sensitivity, notes, client name, material length, and receipt details that you enter.
- App settings and usage information stored on your device, such as language, selected model, favorites, daily usage count, and purchase state.
How We Use Information
We use this information to provide counting, result editing, history, receipt generation, app settings, and purchase-limit features. Photos and recognition outputs are used only to provide the functions you request.
On-Device Processing
CountLens is designed to run photo recognition in the app with the local model included in the application. We do not intentionally upload your photos or recognition results to a server for counting.
Camera and Photo Library
The app asks for camera access so you can take photos for material counting. It asks for photo library access so you can select images and save generated receipt images when you choose to do so.
Data Storage
Saved captures, records, receipts, and app preferences are stored on your device. You can remove app data by deleting records inside the app where available, clearing cache where available, or uninstalling the app.
Purchases
If you purchase model access, payment and transaction handling are processed by Apple through the App Store. CountLens stores the purchase state needed to unlock app features.
Sharing
When you use the share feature, CountLens creates an image that may include the source photo, recognition marks, quantity information, and customer or material details you entered. Sharing is controlled by you through the iOS share sheet.
Third Parties
We do not sell your personal information. This version does not intentionally use advertising tracking or third-party analytics. Apple may process information as described in Apple policies when you use App Store purchases, TestFlight, or system sharing features.
Children's Privacy
CountLens is intended for work and productivity use. It is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us so we can help address the issue.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy when app features or legal requirements change. The latest version will be posted on this page with the updated date.
